Introduction
All perfect praise be to Allaah

 , and may Allaah exalt the mention of
His Messenger and Slave Muhammad

 , as well as that of his family and all
his companions, may Allaah be pleased with them.
This is a medium response to one Yemenite Sufi whos
e name is Al-
Habeeb Ibn 'Ali Al-Jafri.  In his most recent tape
entitled ''The Objectives of a
Female Believer and Her Example in Life'', he menti
oned that the celebration
of the Prophet's, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, bi
rthday is permissible. He
provided evidence from the Quran

 and the Sunnah

 (of the Prophet,
sallalaahu 'alayhi wa salam) -as he claims- and he
confused the ordinary
listener with this evidence.
I ask Allaah to benefit with this response whoever
has a heart or who
listens while he is present [in mind], and may Alla
ah exalt the mention of His
Messenger and Slave Muhammad as well as that of his
 family and all his
companions, and whoever treads his path, and follow
s his Sunnah until the
Day of Resurrection, and all perfect praise be to A
llaah.
